METAMORPHOSIS

Metamorphosis bridges the worlds of architecture, art, and structural engineering. I have interviewed various Architects on whether architectural engineering is considered an art form. They agree that their designs integrate artistic elements through their interrelationship with the landscapes, cultural history, and narratives.

My work was inspired after researching the Vitruvian Triad, beauty, structural integrity, and utility, and from this, I want to convey the visibility from taking three-dimensional design to two-dimensional photography by highlighting the interconnectedness of structure, culture, and interaction to the surrounding landscapes by the following, light, shadows, detail, patterns, context, symbolism and beauty and harmony.
